My name is Alyssa Morgan Parsels. My first name, Alyssa, came from one of my mom's all time favorite TV Shows Who's The Boss. I was named after the actress Alyssa Milano who stared in the series. My mom actually named me in the hospital while watching this TV show. Other names that were considered for me were Megan and Sierra. The name Morgan comes from my mom's family- it was her maiden name. The name Morgan has significance because my mom wanted for her I to share a name and Morgan flowed well with Alyssa. The name Parsels comes from my biological father. My biological father and I have not been in contact for many years- therefore giving no significance to my last name. I have considered changing my last name to be my step-dad's last name which is Babb. The name Babb has significance to me because my step-dad is very much a father figure and is one of my biggest supporters since coming into my mom and I's life in 2004. Although I may not technically be a Babb- I know that I am one at heart and that is all that matters!

Another name that I have is Sissy- this is the name that my nine year old brother, Evan, has called me since he could speak. This name is significant to me because I strive to be a great role model and big sister for my brother as well as be somebody that he can always talk to when he has a problem. There is nothing I love more than being this kiddo's big sister! 

Fun fact- when Evan was a toddler he would always refer to me as "Sissy Morgan Babb" if anybody asked what my name was!
